Thrift Shop Girl Talk: Album Release Show Jazz vocalist/arranger Madeline Dalton returns to her hometown of Seattle to celebrate the release of her debut studio album, Thrift Shop Girl Talk. Joined by Seattle’s finest local jazz musicians, Dalton will perform songs by legendary women in pop music reimagined as jazz. You’ll hear songs you know and love like you’ve never heard before, from Carole King to Chappell Roan and Sara Bareilles to Sabrina Carpenter. By bringing the compositions of women into a genre that has largely excluded them, Dalton hopes to make young women feel seen in jazz music.
