After years of performing in a family band alongside his father and siblings, he transitioned into a solo artist in 2021 with the release of his debut EP, Capitulos. Since then, Riio has steadily built a dedicated presence in the Seattle urban scene, expanding his reach in 2026 to major stages in Los Angeles, Portland, Las Vegas, and Boise. His music is a versatile blend of soulful urban storytelling and hard-hitting rhythms, proving his ability to navigate everything from pure reggaeton to modern dembow. As his artistry evolved, Riio captured the attention of several Spotify editorial playlists, solidifying his place in the music landscape. His infectious tracks such as "La Babys" and "Sueltate" exemplify a modern Dominican dembow infused with vibrant Caribbean rhythms, resonating deeply with fans. Fast forward to 2024, and Riio has truly emerged as a complete artist, confidently unveiling his first official album, Txmeless Dreams. In this project, he showcases his refined cadence, fluid flow, and melodic prowess. “Txmeless Dreams has allowed me to bring it back to my essence, to my origins—pure reggaeton and melodies,” he reflects. With his roots firmly planted in reggaeton and an undeniable talent for blending genres, Riio is poised to leave a lasting mark on the music scene.
