Carl Christensen, Sara Camille

Conor Byrne Pub

DESCRIPTION A low-volume, dog-friendly early show with dog costume contest and live music from Carl Christensen + Sara Camille Above all else, Carl Christensen is a storyteller. With Springsteen’s “man of the people” attitude and John Prine’s wit & charm, Christensen weaves nuanced narratives that you can hang your heart on, but will still make you chuckle. In their review of the 2023 song, “Trophy Husband” Nashville based blog, Music Mecca called Christensen, “the embodiment of PNW alt-country.” In 2025 Christensen returned to the studio to record the follow up to his 2023 record, Actor, Singer, Liar, Stripper. This new material branches away from ASLS’s Country roots and shows Christensen and the band dabbling in new genres such as Emo, 80’s rock, Pop-Punk, and Post-Rock while maintaining his trademark sense of humor. __________________________________________ Sara Camille You might know her as the Mistress of Folk Rock — Sara Camille’s catchy melodies get her audience rocking — and thinking. Her music blends folk, rock, blues and a little country, too. Listeners have described her work as a mix of Fleetwood Mac, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt and Jefferson Airplane. She’s been featured on NPR’s Tiny Desk Contest (with over 6,000 entries!) and was the recipient of the Sonic Guild’s Community Impact Award.
