DESCRIPTION Seattle guitarist-singer Eric Madis’ music reflects diverse influences and has appeared on film, television, radio and his six solo CDs. Known for solo and group work, Eric has recorded and performed with many artists, including blues greats Big Walter Horton and Robben Ford, Hawaii’s iconic Farden Family, ukulele virtuoso Bill Tapia, jazz violinist Paul Anastasio, poet-author Nicki Grimes and many of the Pacific Northwest’s finest blues and jazz artists. He has received accolades from Kerrville Folk Festival, Seattle Guitar Starz, NAMA, Billboard Song Festival, Northwest Folklife, Jazz Northwest, KBCS-FM and the Washington Blues Society. Eric has taught guitar classes throughout the US and Canada with over 300 online guitar instructional videos.
