Levity presents a circus-burlesque cabaret in tribute to those who paved our way forward — the leaders, the artists, the activists, and the innovators who refused to stay where society put them. Some were erased. Others were ignored. None were honored the way their male counterparts were. Each of them demonstrated bravery, strength, intellect, and passion. These are their stories, and ours. An evening of art and advocacy, of celebration and contemplation. A portion of proceeds goes to organizations defending women's rights. Dress code: college / schoolwear / feminist icons 21+ event About Levity Arts: At Levity Arts, our mission is to create an inclusive and immersive space that inspires the artist in all of us. Our vision is to build community, inspire creativity, and empower artists. Levity Arts was founded in 2022 by Katie Herndon, a professional circus artist, with a vision to bring artists together and produce intentional events. We have quickly grown, organizing a variety of events that highlight the importance of creativity and collaboration. In addition to facilitating free community events throughout the summer, we also produce independent shows, collaborate with arts and music festivals, and facilitate performances for local events. As we grow, we are dedicated to bringing the highest level of expertise and thoughtful artistic expression in order to positively shape our world.
