Nick Drummond, Zoser, RL Heyer Band

Nick Drummond
RL Heyer Band
DESCRIPTION RL Heyer is native to Washington State, and has been a prominent fixture in the vibrant Seattle music scene for over 20 years. From his work as a freelance guitarist to producing underground records; from prolific compositions to music instruction, the common threads with RL can be described as quality, authenticity and joy. You can catch him on stage with original bands like Bigtooth, Annie J, Funky 2 Death, and Your Sweet Action, hear his work as a producer for Karmic Unrest and Ben Bruce, or see him doing live improv at Seattle clubs like The Sea Monster Lounge. Whatever the case, you will be drawn in by his mastery of the guitar, soulful voice, and joyful spirit. Songwriter Nick Drummond is a staple of the Emerald City. Playing solo sets at festivals such as Oak Harbor Music Fest, Little Big Fest, Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts, and Oregon Country Fair among others, his shows have captivated audiences in venues large and small for years. His weekly residency at Seattle's Mermaid Lounge has become a can't-miss event in the Seattle music scene, and he provides a sound much larger and more intricate than one expects of a solo performer. Zoser is a singer/songwriter and music bender whose music has no boundaries. With a soulful voice, thoughtful lyrics, and a guitar, his music shifts seamlessly between pop, hip-hop, R&B, and folk. As an emerging Seattle artist, Zoser began playing guitar when he was just 10-years-old. By the age of 12, he began penning his own lyrics and performing to local audiences in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia. He made his recording debut in 2019 with the EP release “Genesis” followed by the EP “Evolve” in 2020, independently recorded and released. Currently he is working on an album with Loosegroove Records, a Seattle based record label founded by Stone Gossard(of Pearl Jam) and Regan Hagar. Zoser has crafted a sound that is wholly and undeniably his own. The result is something spectacular to behold: a voice that conveys a world-weary ache and a bright optimism, and a sense of musicality that is both rhythmic and infectiously melodic. He is a singer, a storyteller and something of a revelation – not necessarily a soul singer but something rarer and more precious – a singer with soul.
