Dylan Hayes Octet Description: Join pianist and composer Dylan Hayes for the release of Vol. 1, the debut recording by his octet on Pinch Records (NYC), recorded in 2024 and featuring a band formed in 2019 around Hayes’ original octet arrangements developed while studying big band writing with Jim Knapp, alongside compositions and arrangements by Xavier Lecouturier, Martin Budde, and Rex Gregory; Personnel: Michael Van Bebber (trumpet), Mark Taylor (alto saxophone), Rex Gregory (tenor saxophone), David Marriott (trombone), Dylan Hayes (piano), Martin Budde (guitar), Michael Glynn (bass), and Xavier Lecouturier (drums).
