DESCRIPTION Joshua Josué is bringing Chicano rock to a new generation. Blending the spirit of Ritchie Valens, Los Lobos, and vintage rock 'n' roll with modern soul and Latin influences, the bilingual singer-songwriter delivers a live show that's equal parts swagger, heart, and celebration. Raised between Eugene and Los Angeles, Josué has built a sound that bridges cultures and generations. His latest album, Broadcast to the Surf Ballroom, has earned praise for reimagining the unfinished songs of Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens while honoring the roots of American rock. He has appeared at Portland's Waterfront Blues Festival and collaborated with Steve Berlin (Los Lobos) and members of Chris Isaak's band. Across the Pacific Northwest, he's become known for electrifying live performances, headlining theaters and clubs while sharing stages with Metalachi, Old 97's, Teddy Thompson, and more.
