DESCRIPTION Kris Simonsen is a guitarist, singer, songwriter, and engineer based in Seattle, WA. His layered blend of indie rock, acoustic folk, and symphonic elements brings new ideas to a broad mix of Pacific Northwest influences. This solo project is the result of several years of work in composition and arrangement and we are very excited to be able to finally present and perform these songs as a full band live performance. ___________________________________________________________ Care for Cosmos is the solo project of the French artist Cecile Fleury, who recently moved from France to Seattle. Care for Cosmos is an introspective Pop‑electro/ Folktronica project that blends atmospheric electro‑pop with a raw, electric energy that moves between intimacy and intensity, and pulses with emotional depth and cinematic intensity. Her music is inspired by electro-pop artists such as AURORA, Susanne Sundfør, Bat for Lashes, Kate Bush. Carried by a singular, embodied voice, at the crossroads of the intimate and the cosmic, Care for Cosmos is the call of the soul that symbolises taking care of ourselves and others, of living beings, and the Cosmos. ___________________________________________________________ Susie Philipsen’s style is subtly vintage and timeless occupying a sweet spot between jazz, folk, and rock. Inspired by Bobby Gentry, Roberta Flack, Orion Sun, and Lily Lyons, Susie creates songs that feel like classics.They will delight you with their fresh, intimate perspective on love and self-discovery. With Susie’s mesmerizing voice floating above her classical guitar and vocal loops, listen to the bar become quiet, all eyes closed, all hearts deep in feeling.
